Visual Identity & Event Design Cin’estival:
Open-Air Screenings at Château d’Ouchy

In collaboration with Rencontres 7e Art Lausanne, Cin’estival transformed the lush gardens of Château d’Ouchy into an open-air cinema. This unique cultural experience combined classic films, gourmet tastings, and special guest appearances in a dreamy lakeside setting.

I was in charge of the full visual identity of the event, crafting a warm and cinematic atmosphere through design and illustration. My work spanned across both print and digital platforms, unifying the event's storytelling across every touchpoint.

HOTEL CHATEAU D'OUCHY - Lausanne Switzerland (2025)

Illustration & Logo Design

The visual identity for Cin’estival was built around a set of custom illustrations that captured the poetic, cinematic atmosphere of summer nights in the gardens of the Château d’Ouchy. To create a strong connection to the venue, I drew inspiration from medieval iconography and visual motifs reflecting the heritage and architecture of the castle.

The color palette was based on the Château d’Ouchy’s official corporate colors, tying the identity closely to its host and preserving visual consistency across communications.

I also designed the event logo, combining elegant typography with illustrative elements to evoke the spirit of timeless cinema within a historic setting.

Printed Assets

MARKETING CAMPAIGN

The event required a strong presence throughout Lausanne, which was achieved through large-scale and location-specific print materials:

 - A0 Posters displayed throughout the city to announce the event and build awareness

 - A3 Programmes placed outside the Château d’Ouchy to guide guests through the film schedule and special evenings

- Flyers and Vouchers used for promotional distribution and on-site experiences

Each piece was carefully laid out to maintain legibility and impact, while integrating the illustrated elements and color palette into a cohesive printed campaign.

Digital & Motion Assets

MARKETING CAMPAIGN

To bring the event to life online, I created animated illustrations for use across social media platforms, helping to draw attention and drive engagement. These short loops brought movement and mood to the event’s visual identity, optimized for Instagram stories, posts, and reels.

I also designed email banners to support the newsletter campaign, ensuring the event visuals were engaging and on-brand across all touchpoints.

Media Exposure

MARKETING CAMPAIGN

Cin’estival received broad visibility across Switzerland, including national and regional media coverage.

Highlights included:

- A feature segment on RTS, Switzerland’s national TV channel, helping position the event as a major cultural highlight of the summer

- Coverage in local and national newspapers, which showcased both the program and the unique setting of the Château d’Ouchy

This media presence helped amplify the impact of the visual identity and design work across a wide audience.
